General Exclusions of Destination Agents / Delivery Couriers

• Special Clearance/Arrangement of additional paperwork such as import, export license
• Storage at agent’s warehouse & warehouse handling
• Collection / Delivery above ground floor or basement level
• Delivery into the premises (Most Air & Road couriers deliver kerbside only)
• Out of hours deliveries, deliveries on weekends or public holidays
• Shuttle service, long carry (if required)
• Parking permits and parking fees
• Unpacking, removal of debris
• Assembly or disassembly of any kind of furniture including flat packed, IKEA furniture or equipment
• Tasks requiring specialized skills such as handyman jobs
• Reaffixing of any fittings; the disconnection or reconnection of any electrical items

Exclusions Glossary

Shuttle Service: Some roads do not allow or are not wide enough for larger vehicles. Where this is the case the larger vehicle is parked nearby the delivery premises (where parking for larger vehicle is allowed) and delivery is then made via smaller vans.

Unpacking, removal of debris: Baggage shipments do not include unpacking of contents and removal of empty boxes/crates or any residue packing material.

Tasks requiring specialized skills: Such as handyman jobs/ Reaffixing of any fittings; the disconnection or reconnection of any electrical items: This includes but is not limited to taking down any doors or window for larger items to enter the premises, assembling pieces of furniture, connecting microwaves, tvs and ensuring they work etc.

Assembly or disassembly of any kind of furniture: You are responsible for disassembling and packing smaller furniture items (if any) in boxes or cases. Our carrier will be there only to collect and deliver your packed items and will not assist in assembly or disassembly of any items, for instance taking goods out of a wooden crate upon delivery etc.
